Our goal for Giving Day was to raise $10,000. Thanks to many contributions, we raised more than $28,000 to kick off this endowed scholarship fund. This makes this scholarship officially endowed and we will continue to raise money 2-3 times per year to help more deserving students in honor of Max Weinstein. The Weinstein Family and Adelphi University are incredibly grateful for all of your contributions. We hope to participate annually in Adelphi’s Giving Day. I chose to attend Adelphi because the moment I arrived for my audition I felt at home. The community, the campus and the Performing Arts Center itself was so welcoming and lovely. I felt taken care of and respected. It was not about competition or proving ones self. It was about growing and being passionate about why you were here! My favorite part about my experience at Adelphi is without a doubt, the people I have met and the community we have built with each other. This includes peers, alumni, and professors.
